Designed and made in Australia, Saun combines refined craftsmanship with a deep respect for traditional sauna culture. Each sauna is constructed from local timber, milled from end-of-life trees, with a charred (yakisugi) finish for preservation. The result is a considered, enduring space for heat, steam and ritual.
Saun is by Naarm / Melbourne-based architecture and interior design practice Nüüd Studio. Guided by the stories of the people they work with, and those uncovered through intimate studies of place and history, the studio designs built environments and objects with clarity and care.
